Global Channel & Partnerships Manager (f/m)

Zagreb, Croatia (Hybrid)

AGRIVI is looking for someone who has already built, run, and grown a partner network. Someone who knows the difference between a partner who signs a contract and a partner who actually sells, delivers, and renews. Candidates still building that experience are unlikely to be the right fit for this role yet. If this sounds like a match, AGRIVI would love to hear from you.

About AGRIVI

AGRIVI provides the agriculture data and AI operating layer for agri-food enterprises. AGRIVI's Farm Management Software and AI Workforce solutions help enterprise farms, food companies, agri-input companies, retailers, and public-sector organizations improve agricultural operations, decision-making, traceability, sustainability, and customer engagement.

AGRIVI already has an international network of solution partners, business developers, and market collaborators. The company is now taking it to the next level: expanding coverage across priority markets, activating partners systematically, and building a scalable, partner-sourced revenue engine.

The Role

This role takes ownership of AGRIVI's existing partner ecosystem and expands it across priority countries and segments, managing two networks:

Solution Partners – companies that identify opportunities, sell AGRIVI solutions, take part in implementation, and provide qualified local support and consulting.

Business Development Partners – well-connected individuals or organizations that open doors, make introductions, and help create qualified commercial opportunities.

What this role owns

  • Strategy & network development assess the existing partner base, define the global channel strategy, identify priority markets and partner types, and set the coverage model for each.
  • Existing network development – take over relationships with current partners, segment them by potential and performance, re-engage the ones with untapped potential, and make the call on the ones that are not working.
  • Recruitment – find and sign high-potential partners across priority markets: consultants, system integrators, technology companies, advisory firms, agribusiness specialists.
  • Enablement – get partners fluent in AGRIVI's products and value proposition, equip them with the tools and materials to sell, and set clear readiness criteria before they go to market on their own.
  • Pipeline & opportunity development – work partners through prospecting, discovery, positioning, and proposals; build a predictable partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline; step into strategic deals personally when needed.
  • Delivery coordination – work with AGRIVI's Business Consulting team to define what AGRIVI delivers, what the partner delivers, and what is joint (across onboarding, implementation, and ongoing customer success).
  • Performance management – run joint business plans, regular reviews, and resource allocation based on real commitment and results, not promises.
  • Operations & governance – keep partner records, contracts, deal registration, and commission structures clean; minimize channel conflict; build the playbooks and reporting that make the whole program scale.

What you bring

  • Five or more years actually running channel sales, partnerships, or business development.
  • A track record of building or maturing a partner ecosystem (reseller, solution-partner, referral, or consulting networks) and turning it into a commercial engine.
  • Background in enterprise software, SaaS, digital transformation, or technology-enabled services.
  • Comfort managing complex B2B sales cycles and judging partner quality, market potential, and delivery capability.
  • Cross-border, cross-culture partner management experience.
  • A structured approach to CRM, pipeline forecasting, and business planning, combined with the relationship-building and negotiation skills needed to turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.
  • The independence to own commercial outcomes without being managed step by step.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Experience in agriculture, food, agri-inputs, agricultural supply chains, government digitalization, or agtech is a strong plus, not a requirement.

Who this is for

Candidates who have built and grown a partner network before. People who understand the difference between partners who could sell and those who consistently do. People who enjoy turning underperforming partnerships into productive ones, and who are comfortable making tough calls when a partnership is not delivering. Whether discussing strategy with senior executives or helping a partner prepare for their first customer conversation, this person is happy operating at both levels.

Who this isn't for

This role is designed for someone who already brings hands-on partner ecosystem experience. Candidates coming from an adjacent sales role and looking to move into partnerships for the first time, or hoping to learn the discipline on the job, are probably not the right fit. AGRIVI is looking for someone who can step in with proven experience and make an impact from the start.

What AGRIVI offers

  • The chance to upgrade and significantly expand an existing international partner network, not build one from zero.
  • Real authority to shape the partner program, commercial models, and governance.
  • Exposure to enterprise farms, global agri-food companies, agri-input organizations, technology companies, and public-sector institutions.
  • Close collaboration with AGRIVI's executive, sales, Business Consulting, marketing, product, and technology teams.
  • The freedom to shape and grow a global partner ecosystem with real ownership and decision-making responsibility.
  • The chance to work with a team building practical technology to make agriculture more productive and sustainable.
